Steve Kent

President, Perceptive Informatics

Mr. Kent is President of Perceptive Informatics, a subsidiary of PAREXEL and a leading eClinical solutions provider. He oversees a global senior management team offering clinical study sponsors and service providers access to leading eClinical technologies across the entire clinical development lifecycle. Under Mr. Kent’s leadership, Perceptive continues to lead innovation, developing the next generation of technologies, aligned to accelerate clinical development.

With in-depth expertise in clinical technology, Mr. Kent is focused on providing clients with best-in-class software and services to increase the efficiency and productivity of clinical research. He is charged with managing Perceptive’s industry-leading eClinical technology platform, including Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM), Medical Imaging, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and Electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO). Under his leadership, Perceptive is addressing the challenge to maximally leverage technology through its eClinical Suite.

Previously, Mr. Kent served as Chief Executive Officer of ClinPhone plc, a leading clinical technology organization acquired by PAREXEL International in 2008. At Clinphone plc, he led efforts that broadened the company’s services portfolio and rapidly grew the company, ClinPhone listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006. Prior to joining ClinPhone, Mr. Kent served as Managing Director of Workplace Technologies plc, a data network integration and service company. His background includes management and finance positions in the pharmaceutical, Information Technology (IT), and retail sectors.

Mr. Kent holds a business studies degree from the University of East Anglia in England, he is also a qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Cost and Chartered Accountants.
