Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Corporate Secretary
Mr. Batt is Senior Vice President and General Counsel as well as Secretary of the Corporation. In this capacity, Mr. Batt oversees the Company's worldwide corporate legal responsibilities as well as corporate governance matters.
Mr. Batt brings to PAREXEL more than 15 years of corporate legal experience, as well as a prior business background. He has provided counsel on a wide range of matters including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, financial transactions, intellectual property and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining PAREXEL, Mr. Batt was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Concord Communications, a publicly-traded software company. Mr. Batt was previously Technology Counsel at Reebok International Ltd. and with the Boston law firm of Goodwin Procter in Boston.
After attending Princeton University, Mr. Batt received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Batt received his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Batt is a noted international speaker on technology-related issues and has presented at the United Nations and The Hague as well as at forums in Europe, Asia and South America.
