Mr. Brykman is President of PAREXEL Consulting and Medical Communication Services.
As one of the leading life-sciences firms in the industry, PAREXEL Consulting delivers a full spectrum of consulting services from early stage drug development to full outsourcing of marketing applications/regulatory dossiers in markets around the globe. The unit also provides a full range of compliance and quality systems consulting including FDA crisis management and risk management consulting services.
PAREXEL Medical Communications provides a broad range of marketing launch services that translate “science into action” including publication planning, physician speaker programs, meetings and exhibitions, continuing medical education (CME) programs, reimbursement and health policy services, call center support for patient assistance programs, interactive communications and sales force material development.
Mr. Brykman joined PAREXEL in 2004 and oversaw the integration of PAREXEL's three consulting arms (WRA, KMI and Barnett Consulting) into one integrated PAREXEL Consulting Strategic Business Unit. Mr. Brykman is an officer of PAREXEL International and serves on the company’s Executive Committee and Business Review Committee.
Prior to joining PAREXEL, Mr. Brykman worked at EURO RSCG Meridian Consulting Group where he was Vice President and head of the Healthcare practice. From 1988-2000, he held various senior marketing and sales positions with Schering-Plough, including that of Vice-President of Customer Marketing in the Schering Plough Healthcare Products division. At Schering-Plough, Mr. Brykman managed large organizations and significantly expanded the revenue and margin contribution of his areas of responsibility. Earlier in his career, he worked for GSK in brand management.
Mr. Brykman received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and general business from Michigan State University. He received his MBA in finance, economics and international business from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
