Kurt A. Brykman
President, PAREXEL Consulting and Medical Communication Services
In addition to integrating and strengthening the portfolio of PAREXEL's advisory service offerings, Mr. Brykman has significantly contributed to the Company's growth in his role.
As President of PAREXEL Consulting, Mr. Brykman oversees a full spectrum of global consulting services from early stage product development to development and submission of marketing applications and regulatory dossiers as well as a wide range of compliance, quality systems, and risk management consulting services. In 2004, Mr. Brykman oversaw the integration of three consulting arms (WRA, KMI and Barnett Consulting) into one PAREXEL Consulting business unit. Under his guidance, PAREXEL Consulting has provided a fusion of scientific, regulatory, and business expertise to help both large and small companies with their product development programs, navigate the global regulatory environment, and achieve strategic compliance and operational performance excellence.
As President of PAREXEL’s Medical Communications Services, he is responsible for a broad range of marketing and launch services, including evidence-based communications that help accelerate product adoption and professional recommendations in today’s increasingly regulated environment. These services include medical writing, publication planning, meetings and exhibits, key opinion leader (KOL) development, e-communications, clinical communications, competitive insights, market and patient access, reimbursement services, and continuing medical education.
Prior to joining PAREXEL, Mr. Brykman was Vice President of the Healthcare practice at EURO RSCG Meridian Consulting Group and Vice President of Customer Marketing in the Schering-Plough Healthcare Products Division. Previously, he worked for GlaxoSmithKline in the area of brand management.
Mr. Brykman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and General Business from Michigan State University. He holds an MBA in Finance, Economics, and International Business from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
