PAREXEL George Clinical Pharmacology Research Unit
The George CPRU has more than 10 years of experience conducting Phase I-III studies in various patient populations, and has access to specialists in all major therapeutic areas. Our location affords us access to a particularly large group of healthy elderly volunteers in the immediate community. Innovative recruitment strategies enable early phase studies to be conducted within very short timelines.
The Unit features 52 beds and additional onsite accommodation for long-term patient admissions and outpatient studies (15 beds) – as well as 20 beds available at a neighboring private psychiatric hospital. ISO 9001:2000 accredited, with sophisticated equipment for pharmacodynamic evaluations, the George site has an excellent track record of coordinating and managing multi-site Proof of Concept studies.
