PAREXEL INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS KURT BRYKMAN AS PRESIDENT, PAREXEL CONSULTING
BOSTON, MA, September 14, 2004 — PAREXEL International Corporation (Nasdaq: PRXL) today announced the appointment of Kurt Brykman as President, PAREXEL Consulting. Mr. Brykman will be based in Boston and assumes leadership responsibility for PAREXEL’s worldwide bio/pharmaceutical consulting services. PAREXEL Consulting assists pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies in drug development programs, regulatory strategies, process optimization, and organizational effectiveness.

Mr. Brykman joins PAREXEL from the EURO RSCG Meridian Consulting Group, where he acted as Vice President, leading the healthcare and non-foods consumer packaged goods practice areas from 2000-2004. Previously, he held senior marketing positions with Schering-Plough in its OTC consumer division from 1988-2000. During his career, Mr. Brykman managed large organizations and significantly expanded the revenue and margin contribution of his areas of responsibility. Earlier, he also worked for Frito Lay as a Financial Analyst and Project Manager and with GSK as a Brand Manager. Mr. Brykman received a BS in mathematics and business from Michigan State University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
