CONLON APPOINTED TO HEAD KMI/PAREXEL TRAINING GROUP
BOSTON, MA, May 16, 2000 — KMI/PAREXEL, Inc., a subsidiary of PAREXEL International Corporation (Nasdaq: PRXL), recently appointed Paul B. Conlon to the position of Director of Training and Technical Support based in the company’s Atlanta, Georgia facility. Mr. Conlon will lead a newly formed group within the Compliance Services unit, which was formed to address clients’ increasing requests for training support. The group will be responsible for assisting clients in developing and delivering compliance training programs within the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology and healthcare industries.
KMI/PAREXEL specializes in developing and presenting current in-house Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Training Programs for industries that address various GMP/Quality System Regulation (QSR) compliance and validation-related issues. The course materials are designed to aid personnel in understanding the regulatory requirements of the Food & Drug Administration (FDA), current industry standards and the integration of these requirements and standards into associated Quality Systems.
Mr. Conlon possesses more than 20 years of diversified and progressive experience in the manufacturing, packaging, training, validation and quality assurance of pharmaceutical products. A 1998 recipient of the Parenteral Drug Association’s (PDA) GMP Hall of Fame Award for his outstanding achievement and overall commitment to GMP in the workplace, Mr. Conlon is a member of the American Society for Quality, the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering, the GMP Training and Education Association and the PDA’s Training Task Group.
