PAREXEL INTERNATIONAL ACQUIRES INTEGRATED MARKETING CONCEPTS
BOSTON, MA, October 7, 2004 — PAREXEL International Corporation (Nasdaq: PRXL) today announced the acquisition of Integrated Marketing Concepts (IMC), a provider of specialty professional marketing and communication services. The privately held company is based in Whitehall, Pennsylvania (near Allentown). The transaction closed on October 6, 2004. Further specifics of the deal were not disclosed.
Integrated Marketing Concepts specializes in clinical trial patient recruitment and retention, sales lead management, teleservices, call center services, fulfillment, focus group and database management, and market research. IMC serves a diversified client base across a wide array of industries, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and drug manufacturers. The Company employs approximately 50 individuals at its headquarters in Whitehall, PA.
