GENERAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION

Where will HORIZONS be held?

HORIZONS 2018 will be held in Washington, DC (USA), October 15-18.  Beginning in 2018, HORIZONS will alternate between the U.S. and Europe to allow us to focus on providing the highest quality conference for clients. HORIZONS will be scheduled in Europe for 2019.  Click LOCATION/VENUE above for additional information.

What are the dates of

Who would benefit most
by HORIZONS?

HORIZONS is attended by PAREXEL clients and patients, including C-Level, Heads, VPs, Director, Managers and other professionals focused on the regulatory and clinical trials space. Interest areas include clinical research, regulatory affairs, clinical IT, data management, regulatory information management, R&D, clinical trial management, regulatory publishing, and eClinical technology. When will the agenda be posted
to the website?

A high-level overview of the agenda can be found on the HORIZONS HOME page. A full agenda can be downloaded from the HOME page or the AGENDA page. The agenda will be updated as we add new sessions and speakers.

Will HORIZONS be recorded or live streamed?

Unfortunately, we will not be recording or live-streaming HORIZONS – you will gain most benefit from attending and joining in the discussions.

What is the dress code?

Conference: Smart Business Casual
Social Events: Casual

Are meals provided during the conference?

The following meals will be provided to HORIZONS delegates:

Monday evening reception - Cocktails/Appetizers
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - Breakfast, AM/PM Breaks, Lunch
Tuesday Outing - Dinner
Wednesday Dinner - for members of PAF/User Group only - -all others are on their own for dinner

I have special needs. How do I
advise you of my requirements?

Please indicate any special needs via the registration page.  We will contact you to ensure you are accommodated throughout the meeting. Contact HORIZONS@PAREXEL.com if you have any questions.

I am not a U.S. resident. do I need
a visa to travel to the United States
for HORIZONS?

Some attendees who are non-U.S. residents may require a visa to enter the United States. Check with your local embassy to determine your personal travel requirements. All visa applicants are advised to apply for their visa as soon as possible as it may take up to or longer than three months to obtain a travel visa.

Note that a "Letter of Invitation" will not be released until a registration has been submitted. Once you are registered and confirmed for the event, submit your request for this letter by sending an e-mail to HORIZONS@PAREXEL.com. We will advise you on what is required in order for us to send you the letter of invitation.

REGISTRATION AND FEES

How do I register?

Click on REGISTER in the navigation bar above to register for the event. If you are working with PAREXEL, please contact your PAREXEL contact to obtain a code for a substantial discount prior to entering your registration.

What is the registration
fee to attend?

The cost to register is a flat fee of $395 (US Dollars or equivalent in Euros/other currencies). If you are working with PAREXEL, please contact your representative to obtain a code for a substantial discount prior to entering your registration.

What does my registration
fee include?

Registration for HORIZONS 2018 includes:

Full conference pass for all sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday
Conference pass for invitation only guests for Thursday product advisory sessions
Breakfast, Lunch and breaks on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Evening Events (including transportation)
Access to 2018 presentation materials 

What if I have a food allergy
and/or dietary restrictions?

You will have the ability to list your dietary requirements when registering and we will work with the hotel to ensure your needs are met for each meal.

I have registered. When will I
receive a confirmation?

Confirmations will be sent 48-72 hours after registration submission.

How do I review or make changes
to my registration?

Click on REGISTER above and then MODIFY REGISTRATION to make changes.  If you have any changes you are unable to make on the registration form, contact PAREXEL@Compassview.com.

What if I need to cancel?

Please contact PAREXEL@Compassview.com to cancel your registration. Paid registrations fees will be refunded in full.

Where do I go when I arrive at
the meeting venue.

HORIZONS registration will be located on the 2nd Level of the Capital Hilton Hotel. Registration/Information Desk hours are as follows:

Monday, October 15         2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Tuesday, October 16        7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Wednesday, October 17    7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Product Advisory Forum (Invitation only - you must be a member of the advisory group to attend sessions on Thursday)

Thursday, October 18        8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Where is the HORIZONS
venue located?

The Capital Hilton Hotel is located at 1001 16th St NW in Washington, DC. For additional venue information, visit the hotel's website.  Information on DC can be found on the LOCATION/VENUE page.

Are hotel accommodations
included in my registration fee?

Hotel accommodations are not included as part of your registration, and are the responsibility of each individual. Click on the VENUE/LOCATION page for more information.

Do I need to make my own
hotel reservations?

HORIZONS delegates are responsible for making their own hotel reservations and payment or all hotel fees. You can book your hotel through the VENUE/LOCATION page listed above.
