CTMS Progress — At the Heart of the Application
The heart of IMPACT®, the Progress application, provides a central source of information for all authorized personnel involved in the clinical trial management process. Progress provides support for the overall planning, administration and tracking of clinical trials from initial planning through to the issuing of the final report.
Progress interfaces seamlessly with other parts of IMPACT. All parts of the system use the same database so, for example, information recorded about the trial can be used to trigger site payments or create a forecast of the supply items that will be needed.
Users navigate around the system from the browser. Summary screens at each level (active substance, clinical plan, trial, trial country, trial unit, patient) provide an overview of key status information. Users can drill down to see more detailed information by clicking on hyperlinks associated with each summary.
