Amy Kissam-Sands

Amy Kissam-Sands is Executive Vice President, Operational Excellence and Delivery for Parexel. Amy joined Parexel in 2019 to lead and drive several clinical operational innovation initiatives, including eTMF, Clinical Vault and Parexel’s RBQM strategy. With more than 22 years of experience in clinical research, she brings extensive knowledge of clinical operations and quality, customer alliances and process implementation with best-in-class clinical technologies.

Prior to Parexel, Amy served as Executive Director, Clinical Innovation and Global Operations Management for INC Research (now Syneos Health) where she led enterprise-level implementation for innovation initiatives and new technologies. In her earlier career, she worked at Quintiles (now IQVIA) in a diverse range of roles of increasing responsibility involving clinical process optimization, new system development, clinical quality management and clinical operations oversight.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University. She has a passion for philanthropy and non-profit work, including military service, mental health and collective impact initiatives. Amy serves on several boards including the Upstate Warrior Solution and the University of Georgia Fontaine Center Advisory Board. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
