Akhtar Wani, M.D.

Dr. Wani is a well-recognized vaccine opinion leader and expert in India with over 16 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Clinical Research and Clinical Practice.
Has received multiple awards, including an “Award of Distinction & Award of Excellence” for successfully implementing an antimicrobial stewardship program in India and a Special Achievement Award for extraordinary contribution in the successful conduct of an atorvastatin study. Prior to joining Parexel, Akhtar served as the National Disease Expert for Vaccines in Sanofi Pasteur.
Education
Akhtar graduated from Government Medical College, University of Kashmir, India, in 2004 with a State Doctor of Medicine.
