Briggs Morrison, M.D.

Briggs W. Morrison has served as Crossbow’s Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors since February 2022. Briggs is trained as a medical oncologist and has been in the biopharmaceutical industry for 30 years—including leadership roles at Merck, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Syndax Pharmaceuticals. He has overseen the clinical development from Phase 1 through to approval and life cycle management of many approved drugs, including Tagrisso®, Imfinzi® and Lynparza®.  He serves on the Board of Directors of a number of public and private biotechnology companies and is an Executive Partner at MPM Capital.  

Briggs received his B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University and his M.D. from the University of Connecticut.
