Emily is an epidemiologist and pharmacist with more than 15 years of applied epidemiology and strong leadership experience in real-world evidence. Her technical expertise focuses on regulatory-grade noninterventional RWE generation and pharmacoepidemiology study design, including the use of large administrative databases and electronic health records. Prior to joining Parexel, Emily worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Johnson and Johnson, Shire Pharmaceuticals, and Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. She holds a master’s in public heath in epidemiology from Emory University in Atlanta and a PharmD and PhD in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
