Eugene Filimonenko, M.D.

Eugene Filimonenko, M.D., brings more than 20 years of experience in clinical research, leveraging his medical training as a surgical physician alongside deep project management expertise. He has overseen global Phase II–IV clinical trials from start up through close out, including audit and inspection activities, across multiple therapeutic indications.

His clinical research experience includes work in complex and innovative studies, including Parkinson’s disease programs involving stem cell therapies. Eugene is recognized for implementing strong operational strategies, proactively identifying and addressing challenges in close collaboration with clients and cross functional project teams.

Throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials, Eugene focuses on risk identification and mitigation, developing contingency plans, and maintaining open, transparent communication with stakeholders. His guidance and leadership are integral to the successful execution of complex cell therapy studies, supporting high quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Education

Eugene holds an M.D. in general surgery and general medicine from the Military Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
