Evan Lin is a healthcare and enterprise software leader with over 15 years of professional experience across product, engineering, marketing, and strategy. He has end-to-end experience leading cross-functional teams and customers to define, build, and deliver products and solutions that drive value for Fortune 500 companies.

Evan is currently the Global Head of Parexel AI Labs, Parexel’s AI incubation and software development team responsible for researching, prototyping, and delivering production grade AI systems and solutions to improve clinical development. He leads a team of 20+ AI researchers, machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) engineers, software engineers, product, design, and clinical teams working at the forefront of applied AI in the life sciences. The group is focused on driving Parexel’s AI strategy and development across numerous use cases, and expanding the use of AI across the company via the AI Center of Excellence.

Evan joined Parexel in 2020 via the acquisition of Roam Analytics, a Silicon Valley-based healthcare AI startup that served as the foundation for AI Labs’ team and technology. There he was responsible for the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and led the product and engineering teams to deliver an NLP platform that enabled healthcare enterprises to quickly build and deploy custom machine learning models and streamline labor intensive workflows. Roam Analytics served nearly a dozen enterprise customers spanning provider systems, insurers, and the life sciences, including Parexel.

Prior to Roam, Evan led the product management team responsible for the core enterprise health navigation offering at Castlight Health, one of the early pioneers in the healthcare technology industry in San Francisco and the Bay Area. There, Evan worked at the intersection of consumer health, employer-based benefits, and enterprise SaaS at a time when the category was still being created. He held a number of product roles including leading the core offering, the data infrastructure to support dozens of ecosystem health apps and partners, and go-to-market for new products. He oversaw a product portfolio that supported over 110 enterprise customers, including 30 of the Fortune 500, and over 20 million active users. Castlight Health IPO’d in 2014 (NYSE: CSLT).

Evan received his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
