Maaliddin Biruar is board-certified in Internal Medicine, General and Transplant Nephrology. He has 17 + years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical practice and 10+ years at Parexel. His project management and medical monitoring experience includes Phase II–IV clinical trials. His therapeutic areas of expertise include nephrology, transplantation, vaccines, diabetes, rheumatology, hypertension, and infectious diseases.
Maaliddin is also an active medical staff at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute, a tertiary referral center for kidney diseases in the Philippines. He is a member of the Transplantation Society of the Philippines, the International Society of Nephrology, and the European Society of Cardiology. Maaliddin was President of the Philippine Society of Nephrology from 2022 to 2023.
