Martin Tochacek, Ph.D.

Martin is an accomplished clinical development executive with more than two decades of strategic leadership experience in drug and biologic development. As Vice President of Project Leadership at Parexel, he directs cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality clinical trials while driving operational excellence and innovation internally and for client partners.

Work Experience

Martin’s experience ranges from pre-clinical science to Phase I–IV drug and biologic development with deep roots at the lab bench, clinic, and global CRO environments.

His career encompasses diverse roles that have shaped his comprehensive understanding of drug development including patient recruitment and retention, commercial strategy, and global project leadership having led several sponsor programs through inspection to regulatory approvals. Martin has deep expertise across multiple therapeutic areas, with strength in complex disease states such as Autoimmune and Inflammation, Infectious Disease, and Oncology and Hematology.

Education

Martin holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a focus on cancer genetics from the Eppley Cancer Institute.
