Michelle Verhaeghe

Michelle Verhaeghe is the Vice President of FSP Clinical Operations, leading a team of ~1500 employees in Parexel Functional Service Provider business unit who are dedicated to client customers to deliver and execute clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas bringing new treatments to patients worldwide.

Work Experience

Michelle has more 24 years of industry experience with extensive knowledge of clinical trial delivery spanning project and program management, study start up, monitoring, and managerial / leadership positions across clinical delivery.  Michelle has 17 years of FSP experience with increasing responsibility throughout her tenure with ExecuPharm prior to its acquisition by Parexel in 2017 and 5 years of experience working for big pharma in clinical development.  She has led multiple large FSP client programs building and growing the partnership from inception to stable state.  Her applied knowledge of clinical trial delivery domestically and globally and keen ability to understand and manage client requirements ensures proper execution. 

Education

Michelle holds a Master’s of Science in Biotechnology, Business Enterprise from John Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina.  Michelle is based in the Raleigh-Durham area, NC.
