Nelly Nauman is Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Executive Vice President of Corporate Technology at Parexel. In this role, she leads global corporate technology strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure and enterprise platforms. Since joining Parexel in May 2021, Nelly has been instrumental in modernizing the company’s corporate technology landscape and ensuring the protection, resilience and reliability of systems that support clinical trials and life-changing therapies.

With more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk and technology leadership, Nelly brings a proven track record of building world-class security programs and guiding complex organizations through transformative change. Before joining Parexel, she served as Deputy CISO and Managing Director of Information Risk and Security at Moody’s. She also held senior cybersecurity leadership roles at S&P Global and Thomson Reuters, where she advanced large-scale security initiatives across highly regulated industries.

Nelly’s professional purpose is deeply shaped by personal experience. After losing her father to cancer in 2019—following treatment that included drug trial therapies—she felt compelled to redirect her career from financial services to clinical research. Inspired by Parexel’s mission to advance patient-focused drug development, she joined the company. She has served as an executive champion for Blood Cancer United and frequently speaks on the intersection of cybersecurity and patient safety.

Nelly holds a Master of Science in Telecommunication Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
