Roger is an infectious disease specialist who joined Parexel in 2005. His responsibilities include providing scientific and strategic guidance to clients and internal project groups with emphasis on medical issues, consulting in clinical drug development from pre-clinical through post marketing, support for protocol development, regulatory submissions and manuscript development.

Work experience

He completed his internship, residency and infectious disease fellowship at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. After training, he remained at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (renamed post-merger) where he served as a staff infectious disease physician for eight years, and concurrently held an academic staff position at Harvard Medical School. During that time, he headed several research projects involving the development of novel therapies for multi-drug resistant pathogens including human immunodeficiency virus in the

Medical Center’s AIDS Clinical Trial Group laboratory. He has also served as a member of the Harvard University Committee on Microbiological Safety, was a core faculty member of the U.S. International AIDS Society and was invited to author state-of-the-art publications summarizing and interpreting antiviral clinical trials for the academic and pharmaceutical communities.
