Scientific Data Solutions Architect and Project Director

Evelyn is a Scientific Data Solutions Architect Project Director, managing real-world data (RWD) activities and working closely with data scientists, data stewards, biostatisticians, and other epidemiologist and subject matter experts to develop and deliver innovative solutions for various observational RWE/RWD studies.  She has extensive experience managing multi-site research projects while providing technical guidance on study methodology, scientific writing, and results dissemination and has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications focused on a wide range of therapeutic areas, from both US and international data sources or populations.

Work experience

Evelyn Davila is an Epidemiologist with more than 18 years of experience in the field of observational research, epidemiology, and public health. Prior to Parexel, she served as Lead Epidemiologist (Team Lead) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she led the data management operations and statistical analyses of a global observational study conducted in more than 20 countries. Prior to that she served as Senior Epidemiologist or Associate Director in USA academic or research institutions.

Education

She has a PhD in Public Health (Epidemiology specialization) and Masters in Public Health from Florida International University in Miami, Florida (USA). She has undergraduate specializations in Nutrition (major) and Psychology (minor) from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida (USA).
