John Bell is Chief Quality Officer of Parexel. In this role he is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality strategy and initiatives across the organization and providing oversight and direction to the Quality organization globally.

John has been with Parexel for more than three decades in increasing roles of responsibility within the Quality organization, holding leadership roles since 2006. Apart from more traditional Quality functions, he has also established and managed quality-related groups during his tenure at Parexel, including Lean Six Sigma/Operational Excellence, Customer Advocacy, Data Analytics and Reporting, Data Protection and Privacy, Business Continuity, Training and Operational Risk Management. Prior to his current role, John served as Vice President, Head of Quality Management, Clinical Research Services and Senior Director, International Integration and Coordination (Early Phase), tasked with financial reporting and integrating new acquisitions. 

John is involved with several professional associations, serving as a member of the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO) Ethics and Regulatory Compliance Committee, Drug Information Association (DIA) and the Research Quality Association (previously BARQA).

John holds a Diploma in Research Quality Assurance from Anglia College, Cambridge, UK, as well as a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of the Orange Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa.
