Mirko is a consultant in the Health Economic Modelling Unit (HEMU) with 4 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) consulting. His experience includes health technology assessment (HTA) submissions as well as the development and adaptation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.

As a consultant at PAREXEL, Mirko is responsible for project management, development and adaptation of economic models (including cost-effectiveness models and budget impact models), technical reports and HTA economic dossiers, ensuring that all analysis and deliverables are tailored to specific markets and produced to the highest standard.

Work experience

Prior to joining Parexel, Mirko worked in the consulting field, with experience in health economics and market access in Germany. In his prior role, he has led projects on the development and submission of AMNOG dossiers.

Disease area expertise

Mirko has experience across numerous disease areas, including oncology, bleeding disorders (Von-Willebrand-disease, Haemophilia A/B), mental disorders (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) nervous system disorders (Epilepsy) and rare metabolic diseases (Fabry disease).


Mirko holds a Master’s degree in Health Economics and Health Care Management from the University of Hamburg (Hamburg, Germany).
