Damian serves as Senior Medical Director and Therapeutic Area Lead for Genitourinary Cancer at Parexel. His areas of specialty are solid tumors including neurosciences and radiation oncology and radiopharmaceuticals.

Work Experience

Before joining Parexel, Damian worked as an adult and pediatric radiation oncologist in Buenos Aires from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, he lived in Angola leading the Angolan Sickle Cell Initiative for Texas Children's Cancer & Hematology Centers, from 2014 to 2018. During this time, he also held the position of Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology-Oncology.

Earlier in his career, Damian worked as a faculty member at the Hematology and Oncology Department and Radiation Oncology Unit at the Argentinian National Children's Hospital, "Prof. Dr. Juan P. Garrahan," a national reference hospital in Buenos Aires. Since 2005, he has been dedicated to developing websites that provide childhood hematology and oncology educational multimedia resources to users around the world.

Damian joined Parexel International as Associate Medical Director in February 2021.

Education

Damian holds an M.D. from Maimónides University, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his Pediatrics Residency at the Argentinian National Children's Hospital, "Prof. Dr. Juan P. Garrahan," followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the same institution.
