Ayman Farahat
Vice President, Global TA Section Head, Dermatology
Ayman is a certified dermatologist and the Global Head of the Dermatology therapeutic area. He has 10 years clinical dermatology experience plus over 20 years industry R&D experience. His responsibilities range from the early stage of protocol development to on-study medical monitoring/oversight and ongoing cumulative data review to the final stage of producing the clinical study report.
Work experience
Prior to joining Parexel in 1998, Ayman spent seven years as a practicing physician in dermatology, andrology and general surgery in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. His dermatology study experience includes indications such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, alopecia, vitiligo, acne, rosacea and impetigo.
Education
Ayman received his medical degree, his M.Sc. in Dermatology and his postgraduate degree in surgery from Menoufiya University in Egypt. He also completed a postgraduate diploma course in pharmaceutical medicine from Wales University.
