Marlenaはポーランドのワルシャワを拠点とする感染症専門医です。スコットランドのエディンバラ西部総合病院で欧州エイズ臨床学会奨学生 (EACS)を務めました。また英国ではシェフィールドの王立ハラムシャー病院で、感染症特別研究員として勤務。
臨床医としてこの分野で8年以上の経験を積み、特にHIV/AIDS、HBC、HCV、共同感染症の患者さんを担当しています。2011年にIDコンサルタントとなった後、感染症・熱帯医学外来クリニックに勤務。ここでHBC/HCVの全国的な治療プログラムへの患者さんの登録と、その後の管理に大きく関わりました。現在も渡航医学と肝臓学のコンサルタントとして活躍中です。
2014年8月にパレクセル インターナショナルへ感染症部門のアソシエイト メディカル ディレクターとして入社。ワルシャワ医科大学で医学研修を受け、ワルシャワの地域感染症病院で専門医研修を修了。
